Answer:

Area of square =side×side

=7×7=49cm^2

ABD,ACB,BCD,ADC are 4 quadrants.

so area of 4 quadrants=

4 \times  \frac{1}{4}  \times \pi \times  {r}^{2}

 \frac{22}{7}  \times 7

 = 22 {cm}^{2}

Area of shaded region is =49-22=27cm^2
