ABCD is a square with one vertex at the centre of the circle and two vertices on the circle what is the length of AC if area of circle. what is the length of AC if the area of circle is 616 CM square?

Please, find the attached file.

From the diagram shown in the attached file, it is clear that AB is the radius of the circle.

Now,  

The area of the circle=616

Pi*r^2=616

r^2=616*7/22

r^2=196

r=14

r=AB=14

AC=AB*2^(1/2)  (because AC is a diagonal of the square)

AC=14*2^(1/2)

AC=19.80 cm (approx)
