ABCD is a square

Given-AP=DQ

Then,

AP=DQ

AD=DC and angle D=C

By SAS congruence ∆ADP congruent∆DCQ

in which

AD=DC(square all sides are equal)

DP=CQ(given)

angleD=angleC(90degree)

so by SAS criteria ADP IS congruent to DPQ
