BC = AF = 12

In Δ AEF

\cos 45 = \frac{EF}{AF}

EF = 12 × \cos 45

EF =  8.485

In Δ BCD

\sin 60 = \frac{CD}{12}

CD = 12 × \sin 60

CD = 10.39

Thus FC = FE + ED + DC

Put all the values in given formula

⇒ FC = 8.485 + 7 + 10.39

⇒  FC = 25.875

Therefore the length of FC = 25.875
