Step-by-step explanation:

AD=24 cm

GC=9cm

AB= Height of the trapezium ABCD= 8cm

HC=6CM = Height of parallelogram HEDC

in trapezium AGCD

formula of trapezium = (AD+GC)×AB÷2

= (24+9)*×8÷2

= 33×8÷2

=33×4

=132cm^2......... 1

In parallelogram FCDE

formula of parallelogram = length × height

= DC × HC

= 14×6

= 84 cm^2 ............2

Area of trapezium AGCD - Area of parallelogram FCDE =

Area of shaded figure.

from 1 subtracting 2

=132cm^2 - 84 cm^2

=48 cm^2

48cm^2 is the area of shaded figure
