area of trapezium=1/2*(sum of parallel sides)*height
=>1/2*(24+15)*8
=>39*4
=>156 cm square.
area of triangle=1/2*base*height
=1/2*6*8
=24 cm square
area of parallelogram=base*height
=6*14
=84 cm square
thus,
area of shaded region=156-(24+84)
