ABCD is a trapezium in which AB || DC and angle A= angle B = 55°. Find angle C and angle D

let's proceed to this question : -

as we know that the opposite angles of a parallelogram is equal the the sum of the other two angles will be also the same

the angle sum property of a quadrilateral is 360°

the sum of the two angles is 55+55= 110 °

so the sum of the another two angle is 360°- 110°/2 = 250°/2 = 175°

the other two angles are of 175°

AB II DC and BC is the transversal,
55°+ <C = 180°( sum of co interior angles =180)
<C = 180-55
<C = 125°
AB II DC and AD is the transversal,
55° + <D = 180°(sum of co interior angles =180)
<D = 180- 55
<D = 125°
