Answer:

area of triangle and parallelogram on the same parallel line and same base are equal .

so, area of triangle = 24 cm ^2

area of parallelogram = 24 cm ^2

base of parallelogram = 8cm

let height = x

area of parallelogram = base × height

24 = 8 *X

24/8 = x

3 = x

height of parallelogram = 3 cm .

Answer:

6cm

Step-by-step explanation:

area of triangle is 24cm square

one parallel side ab is 8cm

area is 1/2bh

24cm square =1/2× 8cm× h

24=4×h

h=24/4

h=6cm
