angle AOB = angle COD (V.O.A)
angle ABO = angle ODC (Alternate angle)
By AA similarity criterion
∆AOB ~ ∆COD
So, AO/CO = BO/DO = AB/CD ( By thales theorem)
Therefore, AO/CO=BO/DO
That is,AO/BO = CO/ DO
Hence proved.
