ABCD is a trapezium in which AD is parallel to BC. If ∠A=110° and
∠D=130°. What are the measures of the other two angles?

Solution :

ABCD is a trapezium .

• AD is parallel to BC

• ∠A=110° and ∠D=130°

To Find :

Find angle B and angle C

Here. we need to use the property of a trapezium that adjacent angles add up to 180°

Angle A and Angle B are adjacent .

So , angle A + angle B = 180°

=> 110 + angle B = 180°

=> Angle B = 180° - 110°

=> Angle B = 70°

Similarly

Angle C + angle D = 180°

Angle C + 130° = 180°

Angle C = 50°
