Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given -: ABCD is a trapezium, AB parallel to CD

To find-: x and y

Solution -: angleA+angleB=180degree

(co int. angles in AB parallel to CD & AD is the transversal)

=>x+45+2x-15=180 degree

=>3x+30=180 degree

=>3(x+10)=180 degree

=>x+10=60 degree

=>x=50degree(ans)

Then,angleB+angleC=180°

(co int. angles in AB parallel to CD & BC as transversal)

=>y+75=180°

=>y=180°-75

=>y=105°(ans)
