Hey there!

Parallel sides  [AB & DC] = 13 cm and 25 cm
Non parallel [ BC & AD] = 10 cm [equal]

We know,
Area = 1/2 (a+b) * h

Now, We need to find height.
We know,
Pythagoras Theorem,
CF = [√CE² - EF²]
     = √(10² - 6²)
     = √64
     = √(8 × 8)
     = 8 cm.
Now area = 1/2 (a+b)*h
                = 1/2 × (25 + 13) × 8 cm²
                = 152 cm²

Hence , Area  =  152 cm²

Hope It Helps YOu!

shubhangi25: i was not understanding
shubhangi25: ok
shubhangi25: thanks
Prakashomm29: it is correct. but we can also solve it by herons formula by drawing a parralel line to any non parallel line. By this a parallelogram is formed inside the trapezium
