The correct answer is AB=9cm and CD=9+8= 17cm.

Given:

A 91 cm square trapezium is ABCD. Parallel to AB, CD is 8 cm longer than AB overall. if there is a 7 cm gap between AB and CD.

To find:

We have to find AB and CD

Solution:

Let AB be x cm then CD be (x+8)cm

Since,

∵ Ar(ABCD) = 1/2×(AB+CD)×distance b/w ║ sides

⇒91cm=1/2×(x+x+8)×7

⇒91= 1/2×2(x+4)×7

⇒ 91/7 = x+4

⇒ 91 = 7(x+4)

⇒ 91 = 7x+ 28

⇒ 7x = 91-28 = 63

⇒ x =9

⇒ x = 9cm.

Therefore, AB=9cm and CD=9+8= 17cm.
