Answer:

Given,

AB=7cm, DE=4cm, and BF=3.5cm

To find,

BC=DE+EC=4+7=11cm

Area of trapezium ABCD

 \frac{1}{2} (sum \: of \:  ||side) \times h

 \frac{1}{2} (11 + 7) \times 3.5

 \frac{1}{2} (18) \times 3.5

ans  = 31.5

Area of sector BGEF

 \frac{ \gamma }{360}  \times \pi  {r}^{2}

 \frac{30}{360}  \times   \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 7

ans = 12.833

Area of shaded region

area of trapezium - area of sector

31.5 -12.833

ans = 18.67 {cm}^{2}

Therefore area of shaded region,

18.67cm2

Hope this will help you!!

Thanks!!
