ABCD is a with AB|| DC. a line segment EF|| AB meets AD in E and in E and BC in F. is EF || DC ? why?

AB || DC
AND, EF || AB also..
since EF is parallel to AB and AB is parallel to DC.., hence EF is also equidistant from DC.. therefore EF is also parallel to DC
because if there are two parallel lines and any other line is parallel to any one of the two parallel lines then it is also parallel to the other line.
