ABCD is an isosceles trapezium and ABEF is a kite.angle FAB is equal to 43° and Angle AFE=137°.find X and Y .​

<FAB + <AFE = 43 + 137 = 180.

Here,

<EBP = <FEB = x

<PBC = <BCD = y

NOW,

<EBC = 115 such that x + y = 115  ----- (1)

now,

As,

ΔFAE ≅ ΔBAE

= (1/2) <FAB

= (1/2) * 43

= 21.5

now,

∠FEA = 180 - (137 + 21.5)

         = 21.5

now,

<FEB = 2(21.5) = 43

Therefore, x = 43.

from (1)

y = 115 - 43 = 72
