Answer:

the rectangle's breadth equal to breadth and length equal to length

so, the lenght of the angle B,D=7cm

opposite angle A,C =x-y

we find the angle A, C. = 2×7 =14

now, 14 - 7 =7 cm

the breadth of the angle C,D= 13cm

opposite angle A,B =x + y

we find the angle A,B= 13 +0 = 13

The value of abcd of rectangle x and y is angle ab =7cm and angle cd =13cm

  1. Opposite side of rectangle are congruent
  2. Therefore , X + Y = 13cm

X - Y = 7cm

3. X + Y= 13cm..................1

X - Y= 7cm....................2

Adding eq 1 & eq 2

2x = 20

x = 20/2

x = 10 cm

substituting the value of x = 10cm in eq 1

X + Y = 13cm

10 + Y = 13cm

Y= 13 - 10

Therefore Y = 3cm

Therefore X = 10cm & Y = 3cm
