Let ED intersects BC at X.
since, AB = BE
so, BE =DC
CONDIDER TRIANGLE XCD AND BXE
DC = BE
BXE = CXD (V.O.A)
DCX = EBX (alterate angles)
by, AAS congruency, triangle DCX congruent to EXB
BX = CX (c.p.c.t.)
hence proved..
