First CASE

AD= base =9 cm

Altitude 1 = 4 cm

Area = b×h

9×4=36 cm ²

Now we have the are 36 cm²

Second case

DC=base=12cm

area = b×h

36= 12×h

35÷12 =h

h=3cm
