Step-by-step explanation:

given :abcd is a quadrilateral and ac is diagonal

to proof : abc is congruent to cda and ab is parallel to cda

proof

ac =ac (common side)

angle bac =angle dac ( alternate interior bangles are equal)

angle dac =angle dca ( alternate interior angles are equal)

therefore abc =cda

since abc =cda

ab is parallel to cd by cpct

Answer:

In the triangle ABC and CDA

AC =AC (common side)

angle BAC=angle ACD (ANGLE)

angleDAC =angle BCA(ANGLE)

Therefore ,By using ASA CONGRUENCY RULE

Triangle ABC=~triangle CDA

Corresponding sides are equal and corresponding angles are equal.

Therefore,AB || CD

AB=CD
