A diagonal of a rectangle divides it into two congruent triangles
⇒ ΔABD congruent to ΔBCD
We know that areas of two congruent triangles are equal
⇒ ar(ΔABD) = ar(ΔBCD)
⇒ 8cm² = ar(ΔBCD
∴ ar(ΔBCD) = 8cm²
⇒ ΔABD congruent to ΔBCD
We know that areas of two congruent triangles are equal
⇒ ar(ΔABD) = ar(ΔBCD)
⇒ 8cm² = ar(ΔBCD
∴ ar(ΔBCD) = 8cm²
