ABCD is rhombus whose diagonal intersect at 0.if AB=10 CM, diagonal BD=16 CM, find the length of diagonal AC.​

Given:-

AB= 10 cm

BD = 16 cm ( diagonals)

AC = ?

BO = OP = 16/2 = 8cm

in question given it is rhombus and it bisect the diagonals at 90 degree

we will use Pythagoras theorem to find AC

AB ² = OA² + OB²

10² = OA² + 8²

100 = OA² +64

100 -64 = OA²

36 = OA²

OA= √36

OA = 6cm

so the length of the diagonal = 6+6 = 12cm

answer = 12cm
