ABCDE is a regular pentagon.

Each exterior angle of the pentagon = 360/5 = 72 deg.

Hence each interior angle = 108 deg,

In the isosceles triangle ABC, <B = 108 deg, so <BAC = <BCA = 72/2 = 36 deg.

In the isosceles triangle CDE, <D = 108 deg, so <ECD = <CED = 72/2 = 36 deg.

<ACE = <BCD-<BCA-<ECD = 108–36–36 = 36 deg,

Conclusion: In fact two diagonals of a regular pentagon trisect the angle from where they emerge.
