We know that, Area of a parallelogram = Base × Corresponding altitude

We know that, Area of a parallelogram = Base × Corresponding altitude ∴ Area of parallelogram ABCD = AD × BN = AB × DM ⇒ AD × 5 = 8 × 4

We know that, Area of a parallelogram = Base × Corresponding altitude ∴ Area of parallelogram ABCD = AD × BN = AB × DM ⇒ AD × 5 = 8 × 4 ⇒ AD = 8× 4/58

We know that, Area of a parallelogram = Base × Corresponding altitude ∴ Area of parallelogram ABCD = AD × BN = AB × DM ⇒ AD × 5 = 8 × 4 ⇒ AD = 8× 4/58 =6.4cm
