Nine people were found guilty by the court, eight of them were handed life sentences and fines, while Jehangir Patel, who supplied the Latif Gang with weapons, received a seven-year term. Liyakat Hussein, also known as master Khudabax Shaikh, was handed a life sentence with the restriction that it not be shorter than 20 years.
