Abdul visited a botanical garden with his family. He was amazed to see the different leaf patters of various plants. He then saw a beautiful butterfly sitting on a pitcher plant. He was about to take its photograph but the butterfly vanished.

(a)- What do you think could be the reason for different patterns of leaves?

(b)- What do you think would have happened to the butterfly?

pls answer me both the questions by reading the short passage

Are you from Tamil nadu???

1. The type of pattern could be due to a phenomenon called leaf venation

2. The butterfly vanished, because either the pitcher plant would have eaten it or it would have sensed danger and it flew away

Answer:

(a) the reason behind different patterns of leaves - The patterns depend on the size of the leaves or stems and plant species.

(b) the butterfly did not vanished at all, it seems like that the butterfly got vanished because pitcher plant is a carnivorous plants which have modified leaves known as pitfall traps. because of pitfall trap the butterfly got stuk in trap and eventually the butterfly was swallod by pitcher plant.
