Abdul works for Robinson's Rice Mill and was
helping unload a big truck that had just come in
from Sangali, Zamboanga City. He was under a lot
of pressure from the boss to get the truck
unloaded quickly. When he picked up one large
and heavy sack, he slipped and fell. He tried to
keep his balance so that he wouldn't drop the
sack. He felt a very sharp pain in his lower back.
He kept working because he was embarrassed to
let anyone know how much he was hurting. The
next day he couldn't come to work, he was in sc
much pain. He lost 5 days of work and his back
still hurts.
What solutions can you think of that might prevent this injury from happening again?
