Dear John:
I hope this letter finds you in great health and enjoying life to the fullest. In your previous letter you had asked me to share with you why I have started living with Mrs. John Shorrocks. Well, the reason is my daughters disappointed me with their selfishness. The materialistic and selfish attitude of my daughters has hurt me to the core. I had a feeling they were greedy, but I had not known the extent! They assumed me dead!
They did not even bother to call a doctor! Amelia and Henery crossed all limits of decency! They pinched my bureau, clock, and newly bought slippers! They must be discussing how much each of them would get from the will! I was surprised to see them in mourning. That's why all of them were scared to see me!
So, I married Mrs. John Shorrocks. I have been living with her for many weeks now. I am sorry I could not invite you to the wedding as it all happened so fast. That’s all. Regards to your family.
