Given  :  using Euclid's division algorithm In one of her steps, Abha  divides 124 by  24.

To find :  highest common factor of  a and b

Solution:

124  = 24 * 5  +  4

24  = 4 * 6

4 is the HCF

highest common factor of  a and b   = 4

highest common factor of 4 & 5   = 1

5 = 4 * 1 + 1

4 = 1 * 4
