Consider time be t.
It would be same to meet both of them, however their speed and distance may vary.

Now consider these distances be x and y respectively. And similarly their respective speeds be 3500mph and 2750mph.

Now this generates two equations, first as totality of distance as 125 m (thus, x+y=125) and another is equality of time (I.e. x/3500 = y/2750)

Solving both of these equations, we get x=70m and y=55m.

And time would then be x/3500 hrs. = 70/3500 hrs. = 1/50 hrs.

This means 60/50 min. Or about 1.2 minutes.
Converting time into seconds would be 1.2*60 sec. I.e. 72 seconds.

After 72 seconds both of the guys will meet each other.

Brilliant question. Thanks for asking.
