Let us assume that the shubham age be x .

As given

Abhishek is two years older than kapil who is twice as old as shubham

Kapil age = 2x

Abhishek age = 2x + 2

As given

Total of the ages of abhishek, kapil and shubham be 27 .

Than the equation becomes

2x + x + 2x + 2 = 27

5x = 27 -2

5x = 25

$x = \frac{25}{5}$

x = 5

put in the

Kapil age = 2x

Kapil age = 2 × 5

               = 10 years

Therefore the age of the kapil be 10 years .
