In Abiotic mode of pollination, there is no need to draw any pollinators. There is also no production of nectar, no production of flowers or aromas and no loss of pollen.

The plant can devote all of its energy into making lots of pollen. Normally, water and wind pollination comes under Abiotic pollination .
