Hello

The answer you are looking for is

-15 ms-I

Because

∆v = VF-Vi

Vi => 10

V f => -5

∆v = vf - Vi

= -5-10

= -15

=> -15 ms - I

Hope this will help you

Given:

V(east) = 10 m/s

V(west) = 5 m/s

To find

Change in velocity

Explanation:

Initially body moves towards East with 10 m/s and after 10 minutes the body moves towards west with the velocity 5 m/s

Therefore

The change in velocity for the moving car

                                      = V(west) - V (east)

                                      = 5 m/s -(-10 m/s)

                                     = 15 m/s

Answer = 15m/s
