Answer:

Asia = 3/5

Europe = 3/25

LCM=25

3/5 x 5/5 = 15/25

Fraction in both = 15/25 + 3/25

                          = 18/25 of total population

Answer :

  • 18/25

Given :

  • Population of world in Asia = 3/5
  • Population of world in Europe = 3/25

To find :

  • Population together in Asia and Europe

Solution :

Let the total population of earth be x .

A/Q ,

Population of Asia = 3/5 of world's population

 = \tt  \dfrac{3}{5}  \times x

 \tt \:  =  \dfrac{3x}{5}

Population of Europe = 3/25 of world's population

 =  \tt \dfrac{3}{25}  \times x

 \tt =  \dfrac{3x}{25}

Total population either living in Europe or asia

= Population in Asia + Population in Europe

 =  \tt \:  \dfrac{3x}{5}  +  \dfrac{3x}{25}  \\  \\  =  \tt \frac{15x + 3x}{25}  \\  \\ =  \tt \frac{18x}{25}  \\  \\  =  \tt \:  \frac{18}{25}  \times x

Hence , the fraction of world population living in either Asia or Europe is 18/25 .
