Atoms are basic units of the matter.

Mainly made up of three particles named : Proton, Neutron and electrons.

Protons having positive charge.
Electron having negative charge.
Neutrons having no charge.

Protons and Neutrons are heavier than electrons.

There is a nucleus in which protons and neutrons are situated while the electrons are situated on the outer side of the nucleus.
