Heya mate here is ur answer✌
_____________________________

the cleansing action of soap

➡When soap is dissolved in water, its hydrophobic ends attach themselves to dirt and remove it from the cloth.

➡First, the molecules of soap arrange themselves in micelle formation and trap the dirt at the centre of the cluster.

➡These micelles remain suspended in water like particles in a colloidal solution.

hey mate here's your answer ☺️☺️

the molecules of soap are sodium and potassium salts of long chain of carboxylic acids.......the ionic ends of soap dissolves in water while the carbon chain dissolves in dirt. the soap molecules thus form structures called micelles .....where one end of molecules is towards dirt where ionic end faces outside ...... this forms an emulsion in water ....the soap micelle this helps in dissolving the dirt in water and through this we can clean our clothes.......

hope you are helped by this
please mark it as brainliest.....☺️☺️
