They are a kind of spherical mirrors.

Concave mirror is curved inwards while convex is curved outwards.

Concave mirror show the image in a bigger way and convex mirror show it in a smaller way.

That is why dentists use concave mirror, because it will show the teeth appear bigger.

Concave can form a real image but convex cannot.
