Earth - The Livable Planet

⇒ Earth is the only planet in the infinite Universe ( upto current discoveries ) where Life sustains .

⇒ Although there is debate on existence of life in rouge planets , it is accepted that Earth is the only Livable planet.

⇒ Earth is the Third planet from the Sun and has the following features for existence of life :-

(i) It has an atmosphere to protect us from meteors.

(ii) It has water and oxygen to sustain life.

(iii) It has lithosphere to support growth of crops.

⇒ Earth is called the Blue planet as it appears blue from Space.

⇒ Earth has 70% water and the rest 30% consists of land.
