The pituitary gland is a tiny organ, the size of a pea, found at the base of the brain. As the “master gland” of the body, it produces many hormones that travel throughout the body, directing certain processes or stimulating other glands to produce other hormones.

Hey mate, here is your answer ====

Pituitary gland is known as master of glands as it controls the function of all the glands.
It secreates growth hormones, if the growth hormones secreted in less amount then it cause dwarfism, but in high amount then it causes gigantism.
