He worked for his people and country on basic of religious,social,intellectual and political regeneration.

His views on religion:-

  • He stressed unity of all religion.He studies Hind,Sanskrit philosophy as well as Arabic literature.He studies Bible and he learnt Greek and Hebrew.
  • He believed in Single God and he was against worshipping many God.
  • He founded Brahmo Samaj.Brahmo Samaj worshipped for Single God and lends on prayers,meditation, charity etc.
