Salar Jung Museum is one among the three national museums of India. It is located on the banks of Musi River of Hyderabad of Telangana.  

It is an art museum and famous for the painting collections along with carvings, textiles, sculptures, manuscripts, artifacts that are made of metals, furniture and clocks.

Most of the assets of this museum are from India, Japan, Persia, Egypt, North America, China, Burma and Nepal.

This museum is also one among the largest museums of the world which is a property of Salar Jung family, a noble family of Hyderabad.
