Summer Season
The Indian summer starts from April and continues till June-end. During May-June, the temperature rises up to 50° C at some places in the Northern Plains. Heat waves, also called loo in Hindi, Sweep the States such as Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab. Though the days are longer than the nights during summer, people prefer to stay indoors in the afternoon to protect themselves from the intention heat of this scorching sun-rays.
In This season we get a lot of variety of fruits and vegetables. And this is the season in which farmers prepare their land for cultivation. In this season One problem there and that is, its causes in human which is very common is dehydration. There is a large variety of fruits and vegetables in the market.
Many people go to North Indian hill stations of Shimla, Nainital and Mussoorie to get away from the summer heat.
The coastal plains, surrounded by the sea, are less hot than the northern plains in summer. These areas are kept cool by the moist wind coming from the sea. In this areas people sweat a lot due to high humidity.
Summer is the warmest season of the year, falling between spring and autumn. Temperatures over the period differ based upon the location on the Earth; regions near the equator are typically warmer than those lying near the poles.
