William Wordsworth has expressed his feelings about the beautiful daffodils he had seen beside the lake and beneath the trees. They were fluttering and tossing their heads in such a way that the poet was mesmerised and hypnotised by them. There were thousands of them. he admired their beauty, which was much more than the glittering beauty of the waves. But, he did not fully realise what a deep impact they had made on his psyche till much later. When the poet feels lonely, the memory of the beautifully vibrant daffodils brings him comfort. Instantly, he feels happy and cheerful at the wonderful memory of that glorious sight!
