water is one of the most precious resources as is also called as watery planet because nearly 70% of the water is covered. about 97% of the earth totals water is present in the ocean and seas this is saline water which supports incredible biodiversity of marine life but it is not suitable for human consumption of watering crops. the remaining 3% is the freshwater which is found in the following forms :
- 0.32% is available in lake and rivers atmospheric and in soil moisture.
- 2 .0% form of the ice caps and glaciers.
- 0 0.68 percent is available as green water.
