Step-by-step explanation:

 Total  \: number \:  of \:  marbles \:   in  \: a \: \\  bag = 3+2+5 = 10

1)

Number \:  of \:  favourable \:  outcomes = 2 \\ </u></p><p><u>[tex]Number \:  of \:  favourable \:  outcomes = 2 \\  Total  \: number  \: of  \: outcomes = 10

We  \: know  \: that,

P(E) =  \frac{number of favourable outcomes}{total number of outcomes}

</u></p><p><u>[tex]=&gt;  \frac{2}{10}  =  \frac{1}{5}

2)

Number \:  of  \: favourable  \: outcomes = 5 \\  </u></p><p><u>[tex]Number \:  of  \: favourable  \: outcomes = 5 \\   \: Total \:  number \:  o f \:   \: outcomes = 10

We  \: know  \: that,

P(E) =  \frac{number of favourable outcomes}{total number of outcomes}

</u></p><p><u>[tex]=&gt; \frac{5}{10}  =  \frac{1}{2}
