Absolute Temperature of a gas is made four times how many times will its total kinetic energy become?

as temperature is directly proportional to kinetic energy . so if temp. made 4 times then kinetic energy also increased by 4 times

Well, we all study the gas laws, which included three standard variables,0 namely : PRESSURE, TEMPERETURE & VOLUME of the gas.

Now, we also learnt that absolute temperature refers to the kelvin scale of temperature. The scale of temperature made by Kelvin keeping -273°C as lower fixed point and its 1° reading equal to 1°C is called the absolute scale of temperature.

However, the kinetic energy of gas (more clearly, gas molecules) is directly proportional to the absolute temperature. Hence, we conclude that, if absolute temperature of a gas is made four times, its total kinetic energy also become four times
