Absorption of digested food do not take place in stomach because food is partially digested in stomach the complete digestion is done in small intestine it get secretion from liver which is bile juice which helps in digestion of fats and change fats into fatty acids, glycerol it also get secretion from pancreas which is pancreatic juice it helps in the digestion of proteins and proteins are changed into simple soluble form which is amino acids and after all the digestion it is absorbed by finger like structure present in inner lining of small intestine known as villi singular villus and these villi are attached from blood vessels and nutritions are transfered to all body parts through these blood vessels.
