beacuse plant take energies from sun(direct source) and animal eat plant then human eat animal.. i.e. nutritional level goes down by 10% in different level of consuming.. like iron present in plant is 1000 then animal take 100 and human 10

Absorption of iron from plants food is low than animal sources because the heme iron or rather the animal-based iron is directly compatible to our body and hence can be readily absorbed.

The non-heme based iron is the plant-based iron is not compatible with our body and hence needs to be converted before it is used in the body, for this reason only 20% of the non-heme iron can be absorbed in our body.
