Answer is 74 *6 = 444

A = 7 & B=4

From the given equation it can be concluded that BBB is an even number divisible by 6.

Here the ones digit of 1/6 of the three digit number and the digit of three digit number should be equal.

Lets do some examples....

1.

BBB = 222

222/6 = 37

The digit of three digit number is 2 and the ones digit of its one-sixth is 7. So this cannot be the answer.

2.

BBB = 444

444/6 = 74

The digit of three digit number is 4 and the the ones digit of its one sixth is 4. So this is the answer.

For more proof try doing the same method on 666,888...... Etc.

But in the end it can be concluded that A = 7.
