acc.To "SOLUTION" chapter in our chemistry...wen dissolution is exothermic, solubility decreases...fiest question is y is it so And the second is if it happnes then When Sugar is dissolved in boiling water Then heat is released .. Tht Mens its an Exothermic process So its solubility should b reduced but its Opposte happnes mens the Solubility increses as the dissolution occurs ??? Why Is it So ??

Hey mate....
Here is your answer....
It is exothermic because once you add a solute, there is forces of attraction between the solute particles and solvent particles and this gives rise to realease in energy as heat.
Usually solubility decreases with increase in temperature since it is exothermic.
